My husband has been diagnosed with AD. He is 41 yrs old. We are dealing with hereditary AD. His father and grandmother also were diagnosed with AD and died at the ages of 45 and 51 respectively. I am having a very difficult time with doctors willing to listen to our situation and offer any type of treatment to slow the progression of the disease. And in combination with the other ladies on the program, I think the broadcast did a wonderful job of addressing Alzeimer's from such a wide range of perspectives. As your friend, I'm so proud of how you're giving of yourself to help others. Very typical of you, but still admirable. Coincidentally, even before I read your new post, I made a donation to the Alzeimer's foundation today, and asked my friends on Facebook to do the same.
